SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL:
Raises and holds cup with two hands.
Drinks from a cup without spilling.
Removes shoes, socks, cap.
Imitates familiar actions such as sweeping floor, dusting, reading a book.
Amuses self, but prefers to be near an adult.
Alternates between independence and dependence on caregiver.
COMMUNICATION:
Speaks 6-20+ recognizable words.
Likes listening to nursery rhymes and joins in.
Echoes the last word spoken to him.
"Talks" to self while playing.
Enjoys looking at picture books.
Points to 2-3 parts (eyes, nose, hair, shoes) on doll or self.
VISION:
Watches and retrieves a rolling ball as far away as 10 feet.
Points to distant objects out of doors.
MOTOR (Fine):
Scribbles with a crayon on paper.
Builds a tower with three blocks after a demonstration.
Picks up food and small objects.
Explores objects more frequently with hands than mouth.
MOTOR (Gross):
Pushes and pulls objects.
Walks with feet slightly apart.
Does two things (only) at once-for example, walks and carries an object.
Climbs into a large chair, rotates body, and sits.
Creeps backward when going down stairs.
